UTP Vendor Alert #2025 – 5 Testing Opportunity – UTP Failover to Secondary Data Center and MWCB Testing: Saturday, April 5, 2025, Reminder

What you need to know:
- As previously announced in UTP2024-18, the SIP’s will conduct data center failover testing to the secondary data center as well as Market-Wide Circuit Breaker (MWCB) Breach Level 1 and 2 (7% breach and 13% breach). The next scheduled test with the Participants will take place on Saturday, April 5, 2025. All Data Subscribers are invited to participate in this test to validate the expected processing within their systems..
- Testing will be conducted between 9:00 – 12:00 a.m. ET. Specific failover times will be unannounced in order to simulate unexpected real-time occurrences. This test concludes the scheduled testing for 2024.
- Testing Schedule for 2025 is as follows:
- Saturday, April 5, 2025 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #1)
- Saturday, July 26, 2025 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #2)
- Saturday, September 13, 2025 (Dedicated MWCB Level 1, 2 & 3)
- Saturday, December 6, 2025 (Failover; MWCB Level 1 & 2 Test #3)
